How NOMOS Compatibility Is Read
Five NOMOS Relationship Layers
Each method looks at a different relationship pattern. They are read together, rather than reduced to a single number.
Layer 01 Compare the Two Crosses +
Compare the numerals and NOMOS archetypes found in both Crosses. Note which numerals and NOMOS archetypes appear in both.
Repeated energies show areas where the two people carry similar patterns across the Cross.
The automatic comparison reads the five positions of the Cross: Head, Left Arm, Heart/NOMOS, Right Arm and Tail.
Layer 02 Directional Families +
The 20 NOMOS archetypes are arranged into four directional groups of five. Archetypes within the same group share a common directional family. Opposite directions form a complementary axis.
Right-angle relationships create a different energetic orientation and may bring more contrast into the relationship.

Layer 03 Color Axes +
The vertical and horizontal axes of the Cross create four color patterns: Red / Blue, Blue / Red, White / Black and Black / White.
Matching axis patterns point toward a similar energetic signature. Reversed axis patterns reflect complementary opposition.
Layer 04 Directional Archetypes +
East · Red — Brother Sun
South · Black — Mother Earth
West · Blue — Sister Moon
North · White — Father Sky
These four directional archetypes describe the larger relational field around each NOMOS family. People from the same direction share the same symbolic root, while opposite directions form a complementary axis.
Layer 05 Combined Relationship Energy +
Take each person's Day Numeral, add the two numerals and divide by two. When the result falls between two whole numerals, the relationship can be read through either neighboring value.
Each NOMOS also carries a position number from 4 through 23. Add the two positions and divide by two. The resulting position identifies the NOMOS representing the combined relationship energy.
